BLTN was recently featured on Boston 25 News, where Watertown Police detectives shared how our AI-powered platform is transforming their investigations.
As the first department in the country to use BLTN, Watertown Police have seen remarkable results. Detective Catherine Dello Russo told Boston 25: "It's definitely super helpful in terms of parsing data that we might not have the time to look through ourselves." She noted that BLTN is "making law enforcement much more aware of things that are going on, not just in their town, but the surrounding cities and towns."
Detective Joe Kelland praised the platform's simplicity: "Now with BLTN, it's easy. You just log on... You put everything with little inputs, and then you press finish, and it creates it and posts it out to everybody."
Most departments face the same problem: valuable intelligence exists across jurisdictions, but there's no efficient way to access it. Officers either manually coordinate with neighboring agencies or miss connections entirely.
As Det. Dello Russo says, "BLTN helps with solving cases a lot quicker. It helps with connecting the dots a lot quicker. It helps with parsing data we might not have time to look through ourselves."
BLTN makes it simple for officers to create and share bulletins while AI automatically searches for connections across cases. When a detective logs a bulletin about a suspect vehicle, officers in surrounding towns see it immediately. Instead of manually combing through documents, detectives can search by keywords and let the AI surface related incidents across departments.
The result is faster investigations and a fundamental shift in how intelligence flows—from siloed and reactive to coordinated and proactive.
