BLTN Dispatch #001: Smarter filters, Built-in support

We’ve rolled out some updates to give you quicker access to the most relevant intel, more control over your feed, and direct access to help you move faster.

Here’s what’s live in BLTN:

🧭 Improved dashboard 

There’s now a live panel on the right side of your BLTN dashboard that shows you what’s most urgent, most active, and most relevant.

Here’s what you’ll see:

• High Priority: The 3 latest officer safety posts from your department
• Recently Viewed: The last 3 posts opened in your BLTN feed
• Suggested: Agencies you might want to follow based on proximity and shared activity
• Trending: Top 3 posts from the BLTN network this week

🔍 Filters Across Tabs

Whether you’re in Following, My Department, My Posts, or Saved Posts, you can now apply filters to zero in on what you need.

• Filter Following by agency or post type
• Filter My Department by author, tags, or district (if configured)
• Filter My Posts by tags or timeframe
• Filter Saved Posts by what matters most right now

📍 District Filters (My Department)

It’s now easier to focus on your area of responsibility.

• Filter posts by district within My Department
• Zero in on activity specific to your assigned area
• Available only if your agency has district boundaries configured
